One of the most important aspects of a grow room or greenhouse is the temperature. Plants thrive in temperatures between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, and depending on your climate, this can be tough to create.
If you are growing in a grow tent, or small grow room, you will be best off with a portable air conditioner. You may also be interested in the mini-split A/C system, but if you are growing in a large warehouse or greenhouse, you will need a commercial grade air conditioner.
What is a commercial grade A/C unit?
Commercial grade air conditioners are best for large warehouses or greenhouses, as these units are the largest available. Often times, commercial grow operations employ a large number of powerful grow lights, like MH and HPS ligts which emit a lot of heat.
To manage this heat and prevent harm to plants, growers will try and use fans, but the best method will always be air conditioning.
Commercial grow room A/C units are usually mounted on the roof by a professional, and can cool the entire building. These air conditioning systems can range in BTU's of 48,000-60,000.
