LX2 ModLINK Connects Agrowtek's Intelligent Sensors, Peristaltic Dosing pumps, & Control Relays Equipped With A GrowNET RJ45 Port To A Standard RS-485 Serial Bus For Use With The Industrial MODBUS RTU Protocol

ModLINK™ is an MCU-buffered bridge between Agrowtek's high-speed, full duplex devices connected with RJ45 cables, to a RS-485 terminal block for integration with PLC systems. Ruggedized 15kV ESD rated input terminals with 70V fault protection to protect against damage from wiring errors and short circuits.

The MCU data buffering allows the PLC communication format and buad rate to be configured via software using the LX1 USB AgrowLINK ( Learn More Here ) and the free ModLINK PC software. The configuration settings are saved in non-volatile memory on the LX2, so setup (if different from the defaults) is only required once.

GrowNET™ devices can be networked together using HX8 device hubs, and interfaced with a RS-485 using the LX2 ModLINK™ serial adapter. MODBUS is a popular industrial communication protocol operating on a serial bus topology and using standardized commands to read and write data from devices. Each device can be assigned a unique address between 1-247.
