The compact Minichillers are an economic and environmentally friendly cooling solution for many laboratory applications. A calculation of water and waste water costs shows that a Minichiller can save up to 48,000 litres of water in a working week and due to its low procurement price, return on investment is achieved within a very short time. The units have small footprints, only requiring 225 x 360 mm on the laboratory bench and are therefore suitable for cooling reactor blocks, vacuum pumps, rotary evaporators or heat exchangers. Minichillers allow stable application conditions due to constant values for temperature, pressure and throughflow quantities. They are also perfect for continuous operation at ambient temperatures up to 40°C. Despite the economic purchase price the coolers are well equipped and have a large temperature indicator, fill level indicator, as well as status LEDs for the pump, cooling and heating. A 1 kW heater is optionally available with which the temperature range can be extended to +100°C. Minichillers are available as both air and water cooled models and use natural refrigerants.

The new OLED controller combines state-of-the-art technology with simple operation. OLED models are suitable for routine tasks in research and industry and are convincing as practice oriented basic equipment. Option: Pt100 sensor connection #10519 to display (not control) e.g. of the process temperature (only available factory fitted, additional charge).

The new KISS controller combines state-of-the-art technology with simple operation and stylish design. KISS models are suitable for routine tasks in research and industry and are convincing as practice oriented basic equipment. Option: Pt100 sensor connection #10519 to display (not control) e.g. of the process temperature (only available factory fitted, additional charge).

Depending on budget and application, a controller can be selected that meets the applications requirements. If only a basic functionality is required, an inexpensive model with KISS/OLÉ could be chosen.

Product Warranty Information:

Huber recommends only using thermofluids designed for Huber units and only distributed by Huber or Huber distributors. If any aftermarket fluids are used then it has to be ensured that the fluid which will be used is compatible with the materials within the system listed at any temperatures, and the fluid documentation shows the required specifications (e.g. viscosity). The only way this is proven is by testing however if a failure occurs due to the chosen fluid then it WILL NOT be covered under warranty.

Huber can only guarantee proper operation with Huber thermofluids and therefore recommend to use the ones in above link.

If there is any failure on the unit related to a non-Huber thermofluid it WILL NOT be covered under warranty.
