Nanolux LEDex Series Fixtures are designed for full-cycle commercial cultivation that features many advantages compared with traditional light sources, bringing new efficiencies for your grow facility that weren’t possible before.
Details
This technology is revolutionizing the horticultural lighting industry in both lowering electric usage and increasing overall crop yield.
The modular design of this LED Light Fixture allows for endless combinations and customizations making it the perfect fixture for getting the spectrum just right for the needs of your operation.
LEDex Series fixtures allow random start, soft start, soft dimming capabilities, and feature over-temperature protection, under-voltage protection, and open/short circuit protection. It is 0-10V COMPATIBLE, allowing control of your lighting with a 0-10V protocol. The units can be used at any voltage range between 100-277 volts.
Nanolux has designed its LED fixture around a modular concept. Light Tracks are sold in lengths of 2 feet, 4 feet, or 8 feet. The 2-foot track accepts 2-4 light bars, the 4-foot track accepts 4-8 light bars, and the 8-foot track accepts 8-16 light bars. This allows you to utilize only the number of light bars as needed per track to meet your overall required PPFD on your canopy. The individual LED bars can also be used individually for side or intra-canopy lighting without the track. The end-user will be able to adjust the overall light intensity over the canopy area and allow for a greater ability to raise and lower the light over the canopy while maintaining a desired umol count.
The most important bar in the fixture, the Full-Spectrum White LED Bar has a PAR of 2.7 umol/J and a total PPF output of 300 umol/s. This bar covers the entire spectrum and has a light distribution angle of 120 degrees.
Looking to start small and with a few plants? The 2 foot track can hold between 2 to 4 LED bar Lights and is the perfect fixture for hobby grower looking to grow like an expert.
Shown here is the 4 foot track which allows between 4 and 8 LED bar lights. Whatever power restrictions or lighting requirments your garden has, these fixtures will allow you the flexibility to find just the right light for your plants.
The 8-foot track can hold between 8-16 LED bar lights and is truly the dream fixture for commercial applications. Growers of all experience levels will be able to find the best way to configure this beast for the perfect amount on power and efficiency.
Want to start at 880 Watts and increase as needed? The LEDex tracks have placement markings for the maximum to the minimum number of bars for even distribution. At the max of 16 LED bar lights, this monster can have 1,760 Watts of pure growing power.
The same bars can be used in every area of your grow facility for specialized purposes. The modular bar design also allows you to just stock a couple of extra bars so you are NEVER in the dark again. The NanoLux LEDex modular design allows fixtures to be upgraded and customized in the future with more efficient light bars and different spectrums as they come out. No need to get an entirely new system.

Supplemental Spectrum LED Light Bars
Spectrum bars can be mixed and matched to fine tune the spectrum into exactly what your plants need.
Nanolux has designed five different bars with five different specific light frequency outputs. Full white, Blue, Blue/Red, Red and UV. This allows the end user to mix for white light with specific frequencies to aid in vegetative and flower growth.
Benefits from supplemental spectrums
UV Light
UV light can speed up the germination process for starting seeds when grown indoors. As growers transplant seedlings to more intense light sources, UV strengthens the plants, better preparing them for high-intensity light. Transplanting seeds from low intensity to high-intensity lighting can shock or slow the plant's growth. Exposure to UV in the early stages of plant growth reduces shock time and speeds up the production process. The correct amount of UV light can increase oils and resins, increase root mass, improve taste and smell, and overall create higher potency plants.
Blue Light
Plants benefit from blue light primarily during the early stages of growth. Blue light helps with the plant's products of chlorophyll, the green pigment that traps the light energy and is integral to photosynthesis. In other words, blue light makes it easier for a plant to absorb and use the energy in photosynthesis. So, blue light helps increase plant growth by helping the plant reach maturity faster. This is why blue light is especially important for seedlings and young plants. Exposure to blue light can help the seeds germinate, and ensure robust growth for roots, stems, and leaves.
Red Light
Red light carries less energy than other colors and is most effective when combined with other colors on the spectrum. This is the reason Nanolux has a Blue/Red bar as red and blue spectrum together is very helpful for mature plants. Red light helps plants bloom, and its been discovered that plants grown with only red light have an elongated, stretched appearance, with thin and large leaves. Adding 10-20% blue light to the red light will allow plants to grow much healthier, with a compact appearance.
Each spectrum of bar can be mounted to the LEDex Track to build fixtures meeting your specific requirements in both spectrum and umol output. The LEDex bars all have their own 120 Volt - 277 Volt power supply integrated into them. This allows for each bar to be operated with its own power cord for intra-plant lighting or side lighting.
