MRCOOL's new fourth generation DIY all in one air conditioner/heat pump is the next step in at home comfort. MRCOOL offers the only ductless mini-split on the market SPECIFICALLY for DIY instillation. They have built upon the knowledge and success of previous models to make these units even more efficient, versatile, and easy to use. No need for special training or expensive, one-off tools, MRCOOL keeps the DIY'er in mind.
The MRCOOL DIY Gen 4 Multizone Ductless Mini Split AC with Heat Pump includes two DIY line set that are pre charged with R410A refrigerant so all you have to do is plug them in and they're ready. No need to directly handle any dangerous chemicals or lug any heavy tanks around! The Gen 4 also now includes the all new DIY PRO cables. These cables includes a stronger electrical conduit that protects your cables from the weather, gardening tools, and even curious animals.
Between the money you save by installing yourself and the rebates available for ENERGY STAR models, the MRCOOL DIY is the most cost-efficient air conditioner on the market today. When appropriately sized this system is the ideal DIY solution for room comfort and with the factory-installed low ambient cooling technology it's also the ideal DIY solution for server rooms, greenhouses, and any other application that requires cooling all year.
The MRCOOL DIY Gen 4 includes the ever improving SmartHVAC WiFi control module that features an easier setup process, improved functionality and works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. NOTE ON EXTENDING LINE SETS: To properly extend MRCOOL DIY line sets, you must match the line set and coupler size with the indoor air handler that you are needing to expand. The MRCOOL Quick Connect Line Sets and line set couplers come in two size options depending on the BTU rating of your air handlers you are needing to extend.
