Locust Industrial VD-1480 Bucking Machine

The VD-1480 from Locust Industrial is the perfect fit for any indoor or outdoor harvest operation. With an approximate throughput of 200 lbs/hr , the VD-1480 will pay for itself in no time.

All units ship with 2 Round Hole Cutter Plates, 2 Star Hole Cutter Plates and Spare DC Motor Brushes.

The reverse speed control is line voltage compensated and transient voltage is protected. The air-cooled speed control is factory set but can easily be adjusted and fine-tuned for:

• Adjustable minimum speed (0-30% of max)
• Adjustable maximum speed (66-110% of base)
• Adjustable IR compensation
• Adjustable linear acceleration (0.5-8 sec.)
• Rated NEMA 4/12 ISO 9001 Compliant

Each unit includes a set (2) of each round 6 hole cutter plates and star 4 hole cutter plates

The VD-1480 is calculated 4 HP at the Roller Surface. Shore A70 Durometer roller surface hardness (equals high milage automotive tire)

The cutter plates come withe following stem diameter sizes:

• Round - 1/4" - 5/16" - 3/8" - 7/16" - 1/2 - 5/8"
• Star - 5/16" - 7/16" - 1/2" - 5/8"

"Adjustable Spring Loaded Rollers" give way to the plant stem to preserve the roller surface. The rollers can be "Locked Down" for zero give by adjusting springs to zero (operator preference)

The Off-Road package of this bucking machine comes with "Flat Free" off-road casters so you can take your bucker anywhere your operation needs to go, indoors and out!
