Overall good but imporant part left out of description
The controller works well and will run a portable AC up to 15 amps. But the photocell is built into the controller and not the sensor, so if you run your controller outside your room it will need to have the same light cycle as your room.

There are not many options for a controller capable of running high amp portable AC's and this is the best option for that set up.
