Deluxe GrowoniX Systems Are Designed To Flow Up To 83 GPH
The standard GrowoniX systems flow 42 GPH, but with the Deluxe System that is equipped with BP-6010 Booster Pump, the flow rate is almost doubled to 83 GPH. The deluxe system includes the electric shutoff kit consisting of a float switch and feed water solenoid valve. The solenoid valve cuts feed water to the whole system when not in use. The idea behind the Deluxe Series is simple- All the bells and whistles of a turnkey mini water treatment plant in a compact, affordable, and dependable package. Utilizing the finest components in the water treatment industry. GrowoniX Deluxe Series is a breakthrough in water treatment gear with its componential design, mobility, and unmatchable efficiency.
This EX1000 Deluxe comes with 'Standard' pre-filters housings which allow for up to 17,000 total gallons of chlorine or chloramine removal-or 8,500 gallons of RO water at a 1:1 ratio. Chloramine removal requires the KDF85 Catalytic Carbon upgrade.
GrowoniX Deluxe Series are available in two different packages- GX-Deluxe and EX-Deluxe. Both packages are built equally with the highest quality components and perform exactly the same. The GX Deluxe packages come with the full monty-a custom roller chassis and Splash Guard pump chassis. The EX Deluxe package leaves behind the fancy metal fabrication for a more economical price. Both EX and GX Deluxe Systems come with ultraviolet filters, tank float switches, input solenoid valves, and SCH80 input plumbing-everything you need to start making tons of water. Never before has commercial-grade water filtration been this affordable!

KDF/Catalytic Carbon
For chlorine and chloramines reduction for city water. Also for well water for iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals reduction. Will last TWO TIMES AS LONG as the standard green carbon filter. Prolongs the life of the membranes. Reduces chloramines, chlorine, iron, sulfur and heavy metals. Bacteriostatic qualities do not allow microbes to breed in the filter.
Flow Box
Equipped with highly accurate liquid flow meters, the Flow Box allows for custom tuning and fine-tuning of the system ratio. Run your system at any ratio from 3:1 to 1/4:1- whenever you want. System ratios change throughout the year as the weather temperatures change. Keep a perfect 1:1 or better, all year round, with a Flow Box. Flush the system with a simple twist of the stainless steel needle valve. Allows for removal of the standard drain/flush assembly.

Replacement & Upgraded Filters for EX1000
*This filter is included. All other filters are available as substitutions and upgrades.
Carbon Filters

*CF-4510-CC
White Coconut Carbon Block: Ultra high purity coconut shell activated carbon filter. Superior chemical absorption and turbidity reduction. The unbeatable cost of performance value.

CF-4510-GB
Green Coconut Carbon Block: NFS61 listed carbon filter manufactured with a patented process that greatly reduces greenhouse emissions—High flow with a low carbon footprint and superior chlorine removal.

CF-4510-KDF
KDF85/Catalytic Carbon Filter: KDF85 Bacteriostatic media controls the growth of microorganisms. Good for water-soluble metals removal, chlorine, chloramine, and scale. Highly reactive catalytic carbon, extremely porous and long-lasting. Absolutely the best carbon filter available, a must for well water treatment, and the best option for removal of CHLORAMINE! Needs flushing upon initial startup and after the filter changes to remove carbon fines and dust.
Sediment Filters

*SF-4510-SP
Spun polypropylene: A true multi-staged depth filter utilizing separate layers of micron filtration. Constructed spun polypropylene, these filters offer superior dirt holding capacity at an extremely economical price. They have more pressure drop than pleated filters. Great filter for changing frequently, especially in well water applications, or any situation where feed water is loaded with sediment.

SF-4510-PL
High flow pleated sediment filter: This is a washable, reusable, and durable sediment filter with a very low-pressure drop. Bacteria and chemical resistant. Great for high flow applications and extended time between filter changes.
Membrane Filters

*GXM-1000-HF
High Flow Cold Water Membrane element: Less rejection than high rejection membranes, but with a much higher flow rate. Superior flow in cold water conditions as well. Our most popular membrane element.

GXM-1000-HR
High Rejection Membrane element: More rejection than high flow membranes, but with less flow rate. Great for ultra pure drinking water.
UV Water Filter

UV-6010
Stainless steel ultraviolet filtration to remove 99.9% of micro-organisms in your water supply. A must for well water treatment, whole house filter systems, or any time water will be stored. Flow rate of 1 GPM

GrowoniX EX1000 Flow Box Deluxe - 2000 GPD Deluxe Reverse Osmosis Filtration System Questions & Answers
WATER TEMPERATURE FAQ's
How does water temperature effect flow rates through RO filters?
Between 77° and 50° water system production declines by 50%, as cold water is more dense, more viscous, and more difficult to move through the membranes.
What can be done to combat the effects of cold water on RO membranes?
Increasing the water pressure with a booster pump. Increasing the feed water temperature, which some people do by mixing warm and cold water from a diverter valve.
SYSTEM RATIOS FAQ's
Does the system ratio (waste ratio) change over time?
System ratios can change over time if the flow restrictor starts clogging due to hard feed water conditions.
Does the system ratio change with water temperature?
System ratios (waste ratios) can drift with cold feed water. Water travels the path of least resistance — the drain line! It’s important to check the system ratio during the winter months and adjust if necessary.
How can the system ratio be adjusted?
System ratios can be tuned with a ball valve or Flow Box. Never go lower than the system was intended for.
WATER PRESSURE FAQ's
How much water pressure is needed to run an RO system properly?
RO membranes require 40 psi of incoming pressure to produce even a drop of water except our GXM200-HF which requires only 20PSI. The only membrane on the planet that can do this.
What’s the maximum feed water pressure that an RO system should run on?
Incoming feed water pressure on all water filters, always and everywhere, should be no more than 80psi. Plastic filter housings cannot handle more pressure.
WELL WATER FAQ's
Can all GrowoniX water filters be used with well water?
Well water is generally too dirty for small RO membranes (100GPD through 400GPD systems). The large 4” membranes of the bigger systems (600GPD and larger) are recommended for well water treatment, unless the water demand is really low.
Are there any special filters needed to treat well water?
KDF85/ catalytic carbon filters are a must for well water treatment. This premium catalytic carbon filter with a bed of KDF85 media can reduce iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, and bacteria—all things that wreak havoc on RO components—especially membranes. Other consideration for special filters can only be deduced with a laboratory water analysis.
Does GrowoniX help with well water analysis?
They do. Just send Growonix your water analysis and they will look at it for free. If you don’t have a recent analysis, you can either use a local water lab, or purchase a test kit through GrowoniX send it off to our partner lab.
