If you’re looking to move heat from your grow space, blower fans are an efficient option. They can be wall mounted or sit on the floor in the grow room space. Depending on the blower you select, you can connect it with your duct tubing and make it part of your ventilation system setup.
Why use blower fans and air movers in the grow room?
Stagnant air in the growing space can become a breeding ground for pests, and can result in excessive heat build up. When we start circulating air within the growing space, it decreases temperatures and strengthens plants.
Which blower or air mover is best for me?
When selecting a blower fan or air mover, first consider your growing space. You should use a fan capable of moving the air in your growing space, and you will need to know your cubic footage. Then, select a fan capable of moving more cubic feet per minute (CFM) than your grow room requires, to ensure proper circulation. For example, a growing space of 1,000 square feet would need a fan rated at least 1,000+CFM.
