The Xtrasun DE 1000W 240V System features a double ended HPS bulb, and is the ultimate lighting solution for growers with flowering plants. One fixture will cover a flowering area of up to 5' x 5'. It can also be used during veg if needed, covering a footprint of 6' x 6', However, we recommend swapping out the included HPS bulb with a double-ended MH bulb for best results during veg.

This HPS Fixture is incredibly powerful, delivering a heavy dose of red light to your flowering plants. It implements an enclosed DE reflector along with the variable-wattage Xtrasun bllast. The included HPS bulb is a High-PAR Xtrasun DE lamp. All three of these components add up to a powerful, efficient flowering fixture.
From a performance standpoint, this fixture does not disappoint. The reflector is constructed from multifaceted 95% reflective European hammertone aluminum, which redirects as much light as possible back towards your plant canopy. Since you will be paying a good amount on electricity, you want to make sure all the light you are paying for is actually used for your plants.
This reflector does just that, getting as much downward-focused output to your grow as possible with deep penetration of your canopy. No more airy, light popcorn buds within your plant - you'll be producing huge, heavy colas deep into your plant!
The included Xtrasun DE ballast is built to withstand the rigors of a hot, humid grow room. It features multi-aspect circuit protection with variable wattage so you can have the ultimate control of your grow. IT is dimmable down to 600w, and can even be overdriven up to 1150w! This means you can dial the ballast back and save money by underdriving your bulb in early veg when lighting needs are lower. Then, you can power it up and enjoy an output up to 10-15% above indicated performance!
The ballast is CSA-certified and FCC compliant. It also features RF shielding, and is totally silent during operation, unlike noisy, inefficient magnetic ballasts.
