love this light

this is a great light. the only issue is getting a timer that reliably turns it on. the light runs at about 5.4 amps@ 240V, but, the turn on surge is such that a standard one pole house timer is not reliable. a two pole single switch timer such as intermatic's t104 works very well for a single light setup (swimming pool-water heater timer.)
the watt output adjustment works great. heat is not excessive and very controllable with watt output control.
