Built with a modular design, the Summit Series can bring any configuration of grow light you may need. With 5 different styled reflectors and almost every lamp option you could need, there is almost nothing you cant configure with the Summit Series Grow Light.
The Summit series modular system also allows different lamp arm configurations and a variety of reflectors for different growing styles. Nanolux has also developed a new operational warranty chip which allows faster processing times on warranties and replacements. The Summit series ballast also operates between 208 – 277 volts allowing for the ballast to be any commercial voltage application.
The backbone of the Summit system is the Summit ballast. The Summit ballast is the first ballast that operates a range of lamp styles and wattages with the correct lamp voltage, operation frequency and strike voltage. The ballast will correctly operate all HPS, MH and CMH lamp configurations between 600 Watts and 1000 Watts. This includes both singled ended and double ended lamp styles.
Simply select the correct lamp style and wattage and the ballast will now properly operate that way within the proper operational parameters. Onboard dimming with access to external light controllers gives you all the control you need.
Whatever situation your garden is in, you will be able to get the lamps with the correct power and light spectrum. The Summit Series Modular fixture can use double ended HPS lamps, double ended MH lamps, double ended and single ended CMH lamps.

Which lamp should you choose?
Choosing the right lamp is imperative to getting the results you want. There are several different lamps that give off different spectrums of light. Blue light is used
Double Ended HPS/MH
Plants need light from different parts of the spectrum during different stages of their life cycle. During vegetative growth, metal halide (MH) bulbs are used to emit blue light. Blue light encourages robust, leafy growth and leads to the production of more bud sites. Once the plant is ready to flower, high pressure sodium (HPS) bulbs are used. These bulbs produce red/orange light, and this results in heavy, dense flowers. Plants need both MH and HPS lights to grow to their full potential.
The DE Metal Halide 4K lamp is a broad spectrum lamp which can be used in both the vegetative and blooming stages of the plant growth cycle. The DE Metal Halide 6K lamp is a blue emphasized spectrum lamp which is best suited for vegetative growth. The DE Metal Halide 10K can be used for vegetative stages of growth as well as late finishing stages.
The DE HPS 2K lamps are 25-30% more efficient that single ended HPS lamps and deliver high intensity, supplemental lighting in greenhouse crop production. HPS lamps offer greater efficiency for the flowering stage to really bring out the biggest and brightest yields possible.
Double & Single Ended CMH
Ceramic metal halide (CMH) grow lights are a relatively new type of HID lighting, and outperform traditional MH and HPS grow lights. The composition of these lights result in a far more efficient operation, a fuller spectrum of light, and lower heat output. These lights are generally more expensive, but pay for themselves in energy cost savings. Many growers are upgrading their standard HID system with a new CMH system for these reasons.
The DE CMH 1000 Watt lamps come in both 3K & 4K spectrum. CMH lamps produce a much broader spectrum of light. This broad spectrum allows the plant to absorb more usable light, giving the plant a more natural morphology usually only found in Sun grown plants.
The SE 315 Watt CMH lamps are broad spectrum "white" light lamps. These CMH lamps have a far more uniform spectral output than any other lamp used in horticultural lighting. Suitable for cloning, flowering, and vegetative growth with low power consumption.
Based on which lamps you choose for your fixture, you will have some different options for reflectors to choose from. Each style of reflector has its own benefits differentiating them from the next.
All reflectors are not created equal. Some are best for mother rooms, some are best for large commercial facilities and some work best in sea-of-green type cultivation methods. They all are made with 97% German reflective material.
Nanolux Optilux Lux Style Reflector
The Optilx reflector follows current trends of having more downlight with less commercial overlap of the commercial DE reflectors. We have reengineered this reflector to remove the hotspot/spotlight effect of the current competitor on the market offering this type of reflector.
Nanolux Open Style Reflector - 150° Angle Spread
The open style reflectors tend to have a shape that will allow for the maximum amoumt of light to reach your plants, while still being able to vent the heat upwards, so it can be taken care of by your exhaust and venting system. Useable with all DE lamp choices
Nanolux Wing Style Reflector - Adjustable 108° - 155° Angle Spread
The wing style reflector has to main advantage of being adjustable so that you may conform to the exact footprint of your grow area every use. The NanoLux Wing reflextor goes from 108 to 155 degrees and works with the double ended HPS & MH lamps. Useable with all DE lamp choices
Nanolux Square Style Reflector - 136° Angle Spread
The square style reflector offers you a precise footprint so you know the exact parameters of where your light is touching down. This reflector is best suited for the double ended MH/HPS lamps.
Choosing the Double Ended HPS/MH lamps will give you the option of the 3 reflectors shown above. NanoLux has the Optimzed CMH reflector for both double ended CMH lamps as well as dual single ended CMH lamps.
Summit Series power specifications
Once you have chosen your desired reflector, all that is left to do is to choose your desried voltage and length of power cord. All of the Summit Series fixtures can have 4 different options for power cord
Whatever power restrictions or requirements your operation has, NanoLux Summit Series can be confugured to exactly what you need, every time.
