What types of rosin presses does Across International make?
While Across International's extraction products are lab grade, and geared towards commercial operations, they actually have presses for everyone. Here at Hydrobuilder, you will find:
When choosing a rosin press, there are a few things you should consider.
How much rosin do you want to extract?
If you are just looking to extract a few grams at a time, you will be just fine with a simple manual press. If you are extracting in bulk, and have a lot to process, you should definitely be using a more advanced option, such as the hydraulic or electric press.
Are you pressing dry sift, flower, trim, or shake?
It is also important to understand the differences that come with what you are pressing. If you are pressing from dry sift, you should use a lower temperature, around 180-210 degrees Fahrenheit. If you are pressing flowers or other fresh plant matter, heat demands are higher, up to 220-240 degrees.
The variances in what you press will also determine what type of rosin bag you use. For example: flower, shake, and trim should all use a 115 or 90 micron bag, whereas dry sift will use 36 or 72 micron bags.
