GrowControl SXW Weather Monitor & Logger is a precision digital outdoor sensor station featuring temperature, and ambient light sensors with optional wind speed anemometer and wind direction vane. Housed in a rugged, corrosion-proof stainless steel enclosure and designed for pole or wall mounting, the SXW is built to weather the storm while providing accurate and reliable readings.
Internal memory logs 20,000+ data points for months or years of storage so you never miss a thing. An onboard accurate real-time-clock keeps log time accurate during power outages.
Agrowtek offers several interfaces making the SXW system as user friendly as possible. Using the LX1, USB AgrowLink connects the GrowNET™ port to a PC for data log download to .csv, graphing, calibration, configuration, updates, and more using free PC software. Learn more here!

Features
Wind Direction Vane (Optional)
Wind vane uses German Hall effect sensor for precision and durability. Many potentiometer type wind vanes have a dead spot of several degrees, friction from the sensor and a defined life span. Agrowtek’s wind vanes have zero dead band, are near-zero friction and have a theoretical infinite life.
Wind Speed Anemometer (Optional)
Wind speed anemometer with 3 cup rotor measures wind speeds from 1 to 125 MPH. Extremely rugged for harsh conditions and sensitive to the slightest breeze. Simple two wire connection to transmitter.
SXR Optical Rain Sensor (Optional)
GrowControl SXR Rain Sensor is a high quality optical type rain sensor with no moving parts. The rain gauge senses water hitting its outside surface using beams of infrared light. It uses the same sensing principle used in millions of automotive rain sensing windshield wiper controls.
Pole Mounting Bracket Kit (Optional)
Optional pole mount bracket includes a stainless steel bracket for mounting the SXW weather station, two 1" pole clamps and a PVC stand-off pipe for the weather station.
