AgroLED iSunlight 21 Watt T5 2 ft White 5500 K LED Lamp Reviews

In maker's own fixture, runs HOT, burnt out after two months. But, bright.
Somewhat in disbelief... Bought two bulbs that were sent from the manufacturer to a large local hydroponic retailer. Used the Sunblaze 22, also produced by Sunlight Supply, for two of these 21w LED. First impression was that they were much brighter than I expected, given the ratings I saw for the intensity of the light online, and I have a number of T5HO and T5 fixtures to compare with. That was the one positive of using these lights. The entire reason I had wanted these was to help keep a cooler growing area for highland plants (kind of the point of LEDs, less wasted energy, less heat, etc...), but this is definitely just as hot as the T5HO, likely hotter. Wasn't happy with the hot temps, but I didn't think much else of it. Two months later, I come home after work and both bulbs are clearly dim. Checking them, one had a dark spot in the middle, and the other has lost functionality on over a third of the light on one side! After turning the light off and rotating it to check the bulbs again, most of the effected diodes just fall off, plus both sides have a smokey cast at one end inside the plastic casing! So now I've got two hot, sparsely lit, pricey tubes that are essentially diode rainmakers, after only two months of life and paying over three times as much as I would for bulbs that would last more than a year!

Buyer beware of this bulb, while cheaper than many equivalents, this is still not the replacement to T5 bulbs which many of us have been waiting for.
